What is the Rain Guarantee Policy?
If rain ruins the fun at Adventure Island, guests will be eligible to receive a complimentary visit to the park to use within 365 days of your visit.
If your day is impacted by weather, visit guest relations to receive a ticket for your 2nd visit. Policy enactment is at the discretion of Guest Services. Parking, lockers, Quick Queue & additional upgrade purchases from initial visit are not included in 2nd visit. Rainy day guarantee may ONLY be utilized by guests with a Single-Day ticket or Multi-Day ticket. Not valid with Pass Members or Fun Cards.
How much is parking?
- $25 - General Parking for cars, motorcycles, trucks, recreation vehicles and campers (FREE for Silver, Gold and Platinum Annual Pass Members)
NOTE: Annual Pass Members must be present with their Annual Pass and show valid matching Photo I.D. to receive free or discounted parking. Parking Passes are non-refundable. Rebooking requires at least 24 hours' advance notice.

Does Adventure Island close for capacity?
In order to ensure our guests' comfort and safety, Adventure Island’s capacity is limited. Admission into the park may be temporarily suspended during the day due to periods of high attendance.

What are the attraction restrictions?
Some slide restrictions are posted at each slide, and all guests including those using wheelchairs must meet the requirements. Slide restrictions are also posted on the slide pages. Please see a park team member at the slide if you have any questions.
Are there any clothing restrictions to ride slides at Adventure Island?
Yes, each slide has individual clothing restrictions to ensure rider safety. You can review these restrictions on each of the attraction detail pages. Please note that for all slides, swim attire with buckles, rivets and any sharp objects are not permitted.
How do I rent a Cabana or Chickee Hut?
Cabanas and Chickee Huts can be rented online during the open season. Cabanas are available for a daily rental fee and include four lounge chairs, plus an all-day locker rental. Cabanas and Chickees Huts can be reserved online or by calling (813) 884-4FUN. You can also reserve your Cabana or Chickee Hut by visiting Island Upgrades just outside the Island Surf Shop at Adventure Island.
How do I purchase tickets online?
Tickets can be purchased online. Purchase and print your tickets online for fast and convenient entry.
What is Adventure Island's cancellation/refund policy?
Adventure Island Tampa Bay’s zero change fee policy allows Guest to change previously made admissions reservations to a different date by calling 813-884-4FUN between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST. Additional cost applies for dates with higher ticket prices. No refund or credit is given for changes from dates with higher prices to dates with lower prices. Tickets, Passes, Membership, and Fun Cards are nonrefundable, nontransferable, revocable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Other restrictions may apply.
Most in-park experiences and products may be rescheduled 1 or more times with no fee if rebooked at least 24-48 hours prior to date of reservation (product-dependent) by calling 813-884-4FUN between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST. Please see specific reservation product descriptions and disclaimers for cancellation policy.

Are lockers available?
All-day lockers are available for rental at the Main Entrance, Mango Joe's, and Splash Attack for storage of personal belongings. Lockers are also included in our cabanas. Reserve a private cabana here.
May I bring my own food and beverages into Adventure Island?
No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed to be brought into Adventure Island Tampa Bay, except you may bring a bottle of water or a refillable water bottle. Exceptions may be made for Guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies and baby food/formula. Guest should contact Park Security when they arrive at the Park for approval to bring in special dietary foods.

Am I allowed to bring my own chairs into the park?
For the safety of all of our guests, Adventure Island does not allow personal chairs into the park. For your convenience, loungers, beach chairs and other seating is available throughout the park.
Guests are also welcome to purchase private cabanas or loungers here.
Are cameras and phones allowed on the slides?
Due to the nature and dynamics of all rides and the potential for injury, unsecured cameras or video cameras of any size are not permitted on certain slides.
Cameras secured with a chest harness or wrist/arm straps are only permitted on Colossal Curl, Solar Vortex, Calypso Coaster and Aruba Tuba.

What are the security procedures upon park entry?
Adventure Island has increased security procedures, which may result in slight delays while entering the park. As a part of this process:
- All bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the park.
- As a reminder, the following items are not permitted to be brought into Adventure Island for the safety of our guests: weapons, knives, any other type of sharp objects, straws, large hard or soft coolers, and any hazardous items or materials.
- Please leave any unnecessary articles secured within your vehicle to expedite your entry into the park.
- Adventure Island is not responsible for fire, theft, damage, or loss of vehicle including articles left within.
Can my children go to Adventure Island without me?
Except when participating in an event intended for young guests such as our Busch Gardens and Adventure Island camps, sleepovers, birthday parties and educational programs, Seaworld Parks & Entertainment suggests that visitors 13 and younger be accompanied by an adult.
What should I wear?
Guests must wear proper swim attire. Thong bathing suits are not allowed. Cutoff jeans, denim of any kind, cargo shorts and frayed shorts are not allowed. Cotton T-shirts and shorts may not be worn on any body slides. Clothing with metal button, clips, and trim are also prohibited. Water shoes are permitted in pool areas, pathways and all tube based attractions. Water shoes are strictly prohibited on all body slides. What credit cards are accepted at Adventure Island?
US Bank ATM is located at the front the park. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover are accepted at all ticket booths, restaurants, and gift shops with proper identification. Personal checks are not accepted.
Can I smoke at Adventure Island?
Adventure Island is committed to a safe and friendly environment; therefore, smoking is prohibited in lines for the rides and all water attractions. We have provided designated smoking stations throughout the park. All indoor areas will remain smoke-free environments. Outdoor smoking stations are designated in guest areas by smoking urns, red benches, and "Designated Smoking Area" signs. These signs are marked on the park maps.

What are the rules at Adventure Island?
We want your stay at Adventure Island to be safe as well as fun. Here are some ways we've worked to make every adventure, from swimming to dining, worry-free:
Coolers: To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all adventure Island guests, no coolers, regardless of size, will be allowed inside the water park. Outside picnic pavilions are available outside the front gate for cooler use.
Smoking Policy: Adventure Island is committed to a safe and friendly environment; therefore, smoking is prohibited in lines for the rides, in all water attractions and at Fabians Fun Port. We have provided designated smoking stations throughout the park. All indoor areas will remain smoke-free environments. Outdoor smoking stations are designated in guest areas by smoking urns, benches and "Designated Smoking Area" signs, which are situated near most restrooms. These signs are marked on the park maps.

Food: Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside Adventure Island. This includes hard and soft coolers, glass containers, food such as sandwiches, pizza, meals, snacks etc. No drinks (other than water) may be taken into the park, this includes soda, flavored drinks or alcoholic beverages. Attraction Height Requirements: Visit the Attractions page for more information on specific height requirements. Children may be measured at the height check station located at the entrance of each attraction. All guests, including those using wheelchairs, must meet the height requirement.
