In order to ensure our guests' comfort and safety, Adventure Island’s capacity is limited. Admission into the park may be temporarily suspended during the day due to periods of high attendance.

Some slide restrictions are posted at each slide, and all guests including those using wheelchairs must meet the requirements. Slide restrictions are also posted on the slide pages. Please see a park team member at the slide if you have any questions.
For the safety of our guests, attractions require improvements and general maintenance. Plan ahead by reviewing the improvements and maintenance schedule.
Yes, each slide has individual clothing restrictions to ensure rider safety. You can review these restrictions on each of the attraction detail pages. Please note that for all slides, swim attire with buckles, rivets and any sharp objects are not permitted.
Cabanas are available for a daily rental fee and include two lounge chairs, plus an all-day locker rental. Reserve your Cabana here.
Tickets can be purchased online. Purchase and print your tickets online for fast and convenient entry.
Tickets, Passes, Membership, and Fun Cards are nonrefundable, nontransferable, revocable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Other restrictions may apply.
Most in-park experiences and products may be rescheduled 1 or more times with no fee if rebooked at least 24-48 hours prior to date of reservation (product-dependent) by calling 813-884-4FUN between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST. Please see specific reservation product descriptions and disclaimers for cancellation policy.

All-day lockers are available for rental at the Main Entrance, Mango Joe's, and Splash Attack for storage of personal belongings. Lockers are also included in our cabanas. Reserve a private cabana here.
No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed to be brought into Adventure Island Tampa Bay, except you may bring a bottle of water or a refillable water bottle. Exceptions may be made for Guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies and baby food/formula. Guest should contact Park Security when they arrive at the Park for approval to bring in special dietary foods.

For the safety of all of our guests, Adventure Island does not allow personal chairs into the park. For your convenience, loungers, beach chairs and other seating is available throughout the park.
Guests are also welcome to purchase private cabanas or loungers here.
Due to the nature and dynamics of all rides and the potential for injury, unsecured cameras or video cameras of any size are not permitted on certain slides.
Cameras secured with a chest harness or wrist/arm straps are only permitted on Colossal Curl, Solar Vortex, Calypso Coaster and Aruba Tuba.
Adventure Island is committed to the safety of all guests, therefore only US Coast Guard (USCG) approved life vests are permitted into the park.
Lost and Found is located at Guest Relations at the front of the park. For inquiries about lost objects, you can contact us here.
Adventure Island has increased security procedures, which may result in slight delays while entering the park. As a part of this process:
- All bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the park.
- As a reminder, the following items are not permitted to be brought into Adventure Island for the safety of our guests: weapons, knives, any other type of sharp objects, disposable straws, hard or soft coolers, and any hazardous items or materials.
- Please leave any unnecessary articles secured within your vehicle to expedite your entry into the park.
- Adventure Island is not responsible for fire, theft, damage, or loss of vehicle including articles left within.
Except when participating in an event intended for young guests such as our Busch Gardens and Adventure Island camps, sleepovers, birthday parties and educational programs, Seaworld Parks & Entertainment suggests that visitors 13 and younger be accompanied by an adult.
Guests must wear proper swim attire. Thong bathing suits are not allowed. Cotton T-shirts and shorts, Cutoff jeans, denim of any kind, cargo shorts and frayed shorts are not allowed allowed on body slides. Clothing with metal button, clips, and trim are also prohibited. Water shoes are permitted in pool areas, pathways and all tube based attractions. Water shoes are strictly prohibited on all body slides. Please note that for all slides, swim attire with buckles, rivets and any sharp objects are not permitted. You can review clothing restrictions on each of the attraction detail pages.
US Bank ATM is located at the front the park. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover are accepted at all ticket booths, restaurants, and gift shops with proper identification. Personal checks are not accepted.
Adventure Island is committed to a safe and friendly environment; therefore, smoking is prohibited in lines for the rides and all water attractions. We have provided designated smoking stations throughout the park. All indoor areas will remain smoke-free environments. Outdoor smoking stations are designated in guest areas by smoking urns, red benches, and "Designated Smoking Area" signs. These signs are marked on the park maps.

We want your stay at Adventure Island to be safe as well as fun. Here are some ways we've worked to make every adventure, from swimming to dining, worry-free:
Coolers: To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all adventure Island guests, no coolers, regardless of size, will be allowed inside the water park. Outside picnic pavilions are available outside the front gate for cooler use.
Smoking Policy: Adventure Island is committed to a safe and friendly environment; therefore, smoking is prohibited in lines for the rides, and in all water attractions. We have provided designated smoking stations throughout the park. All indoor areas will remain smoke-free environments. Outdoor smoking stations are designated in guest areas by smoking urns, benches and "Designated Smoking Area" signs, which are situated near most restrooms. These signs are marked on the park maps.

Adventure Island reserves the right to prohibit any item that compromises the safety and well being of our guests without posted warning.
Food: Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside Adventure Island. This includes hard and soft coolers, glass containers, food such as sandwiches, pizza, meals, snacks etc. No drinks (other than water) may be taken into the park, this includes soda, flavored drinks or alcoholic beverages. Attraction Height Requirements: Visit the Attractions page for more information on specific height requirements. Children may be measured at the height check station located at the entrance of each attraction. All guests, including those using wheelchairs, must meet the height requirement.
