Rules & Safety
We want your stay at Adventure Island to be safe as well as fun. Here are some ways we've worked to make every adventure, from swimming to dining, worry-free:
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all adventure Island guests, no coolers, regardless of size, will be allowed inside the water park. Outside picnic pavilions are available outside the front gate for cooler use.
Adventure Island is committed to a safe and friendly environment; therefore, smoking is prohibited in lines for the rides, in all water attractions and at Fabians Fun Port. We have provided designated smoking stations throughout the park. All indoor areas will remain smoke-free environments. Outdoor smoking stations are designated in guest areas by smoking urns, benches and "Designated Smoking Area" signs, which are situated near most restrooms. These signs are marked on the park maps.
Guests may wear swimsuits or shorts, and t-shirts on rides. Thong bathing suits are not allowed. T-shirts may not be worn on body flumes. No cut-off and / or frayed Shorts are allowed. Clothing with metal trim is also prohibited. Aqua Socks are permitted in pool areas.
For the comfort and safety of our guests, prohibited items include but are not limited to the following:
Glass containers (exceptions are made for baby food & medicine)
Carts & wagons
Tents & canopies
- Squirt guns
Adventure Island reserves the right to prohibit any item that compromises the safety and well being of our guests without posted warning.
First Aid is located near the entrance to the park. Emergency medical technicians and paramedics staff our First Aid location, during normal park hours. If you need medical attention, contact the nearest staff member, and they will be happy to contact First Aid for you.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside Adventure Island. This includes hard and soft coolers, glass containers, food such as sandwiches, pizza, meals, snacks etc. No drinks (other than water) may be taken into the park, this includes soda, flavored drinks or alcoholic beverages.
